To meet the order for two very special versions as tenders for the 87m Perini Navi Clipper Yacht "Maltese Falcon", the world's largest privately owned sailing yacht, Pascoe developed new decks, a cabin version and higher and drier hulls to meet the exacting superyacht standards demanded to meet the Falcon owner's requirements. This was the birth of the sy 10 range, now developed as true Superyacht tenders and standalone chase boats of the highest possible quality and design.

The Formation of Pascoe International
World recognition came for Mark when he was head hunted by Charles Burnett III and appointed Team Manager, later to become Technical Director of Vulture Ventures Ltd. The aim of the company was to build a professional Class II race team with Charles at the helm of powerboats such as "Buzzi Buzzard" and "Cultured Vulture", they achieved endless accolades and world championship wins,

During his years in World Class Powerboat Racing, Mark Pascoe was at the forefront of new technological and design development and has for many years harboured the desire to streamline, what is known amongst yachtsmen as "the workhorse of the water" - the Rigid Hulled Inflatable Boat (RIB). It was a friendship he forged with world famous boat designer Ocke Mannerfelt, that hastened Mark's decision to set about realising his dream with the use of Ocke's renowned aero-dynamic stepped hull … " the Batboat". The first SportRib was launched in 1998 at the Dusseldorf Boat Show and received rave reviews from the media …… the journey had begun!

Pascoe International is pleased to announce the completion of the spectacularly fast Pascoe sy 10 Open “Crazy Lady of Hamble”, ordered as the flagship of the fleet operated by the Hamble based luxury RIB charter company Crazy’s Charters www.crazys-charters.co.uk –Crazy Lady will be one of the fastest Solent based powerboats, with twin Yanmar 315s diesels on high performance Bravo 1 drives for a speed of 75mph. She is fully MCA certified with all offshore safety equipment and instrumentation, including radar.
A similar sy 10 Open is being completed for the well known Poole based charter company, Princess Motoryacht Academy, again to full MCA coding. This sy 10 is being fitted with the latest Volvo D4s twin diesels with “fly-by-wire” controls.
Pascoe International is well advanced with the build of the first “Ribtec by Pascoe” yacht tenders, as exclusive builders of tenders based on the highly regarded Ribtec hulls – all following the recent “Strategic Alliance” with Ribtec. First deliveries are for a pair of 7.4m inboard tenders and a rather special 6m tender, again with a lightweight inboard diesel.
The management of Pascoe International has been strengthened with the appointment of Tim Wilks as Head of Marketing and Sales. Tim founded Ribtec and his experience as Ribtec Managing Director is now available at Pascoe not only for the exclusive “Ribtec by Pascoe” range, but also for the SportsRib range and the custom sales of the Superyacht range of Pascoe tenders and sportsboats.
A further management appointment is Gavin Brown, who brings his extensive engineering and field experience to head the installation, service and after sales service as Technical Manager.
