The 'NEMO'

The spirit of the 1920s is captured in this 150-footer (45.7m). Many owners want the beauty of line of that era, without the huge effort and expense of a restoration, with an ease of handling and maintenance that comes from today's materials. This thoroughly modern classic has an oval deckhouse, glazed all round from waist height to ceiling, offering panoramic views.

Hull construction is likely to be cedar-cored epoxy/glass for light weight and strength. The yacht will have all the turn-of-the-century elegance below which one associates with the Great Age of yachting. The underwater shape is being finalised with a naval architect. The rig will be carbon and the engine an MTU 183 12V driving a four-blade variable pitch propeller.
