Atlanta and Mamamouchi launched

Latest News from Dubois Naval Architects

Dubois Naval Architects has seen a fast moving pace of launchings, new commissions, design development and research over the past few months.

The Company strategy of remaining in the raceboat market, while continuing superyacht activity and pushing forward into motoryacht design has meant that we are busy on all fronts. 1996 will be the Company's best year, both from a turnover and profit standpoints.

The variety of yachts emanating from the Dubois office continues to broaden and this deliberate policy, we have found, promotes a sense of innovation and progess throughout the range.

The large sailing boat scene has seen the arrival this year, of the Alloy Yacht built 37 Metre Atlanta and the Pendennis built 39 Metre Mamamouchi. Both yachts take advantage of the latest in sail handing technology. Moving down in size, the Vitters built Felicita cruising sloop at 73 foot has proved a great success.

Down one size again saw the 49 foot Nadia built in composite by Pendennis Shipyard takes to the water well in time to compete for the Expo 98 race beginning January 3rd 1997. This yacht is a truly state of the art racer/cruiser using the most modern composite materials but having a well finished and comprehensive interior.

New projects at Dubois Naval Architects include a 45 metre motoryacht to be built at Pendennis Shipyard, a 37 ft CHS racing yacht, 75 foot composite fast cruiser, a 42 metre fast sailing cruiser and three new production yachts, from 37ft to 55ft.
