Telkom week 1997 was a great success for our design office. A total fleet of 75 boats participated in the event, divided over several classes ranging from high level racing in the IMS division to straight forward fun in the twilight section.

The 87 foot design of 'NEW DAWN' will be built by Pendennis Shipyard in Falmouth using the tried and tested cedar core construction technique that proved so successful on the Bill Dixon designed 115 foot 'YANKEE TOO' that was launched in the spring of '96 to such acclaim from Camper and Nicholson's Gosport yard.
